Who knew that introducing sheep to the ranch would be such a big deal for the horses and the dog pups?
These are fairly wild sheep from a wilderness ranch further north, so I think they have a good chance of staying alive here. If they could get along with the horses and graze together, that would give them even more protection.
But right now, the horses are totally freaked out by the sheep!
I also show you how our 6-month-old Kangal/Kelpie pups react to the sheep and how I start working with them to hopefully lead them to a place where their strong instinct to chase the sheep (from their Kelpie genes) can be replaced with a greater wisdom.
I had no idea I would be so besotted with sheep until this crew arrived! I only got sheep because the land asked for sheep to help balance the pastures. But I can honestly say, they are amazing beings and I’m so glad I get to experience their playful, innocent, joyful approach to life.

I was touched by your bond with Mama Sage (is that her name?!)❤️ Do you know if she has had this sort of a communication with a human before? Her semi-wild, kind and wise and happy nature really made an impression on me, and how ready she was to work with you, the dogs, the land and the horses to protect her babies. What a wonderful bunch you have there!
Yes that’s her name. And you are bang on in your perceptions of her. She has already come forward in several sessions with the herd and Ginny, with messages for people. A truly remarkable being.
What a luminescent being 💛🙏🏽🐑
