My CAT skidsteer has died and it’s time for a replacement machine that can do all the tasks around the 160 acre Singing Horse Ranch near Vernon, Canada.
Moving/stacking hay bales up to 1300 lbs, snowplowing the 1km long driveway, grading the driveway in summer to get rid of the ruts/washboard, grabbing felled trees and pulling them down to flat areas where we can chainsaw them up, prepping the ground and slope under the new sheep shelter, and so on!
So I drove down to their headquarters in Port Coquitlam, BC to test-drive this 825HT wheel loader from UHI Machinery – that is WAY cheaper than any competitor. WHY?? Is it a tin can – cheap parts? I need to find out, but the first step is to touch/feel/drive the machine.
If you’re considering a new tractor, wheel loader, or skid steer – definitely check out this video and see how this one works. This company is based in Australia – started in 2018 – but now has a few locations in Canada and just opened up in the USA.
I’ll be sharing more videos of the machine in action so you can really assess it later.
