Horse Wisdom: Who Are You REALLY? Part 1

This is a very powerful session the horses held for one of our horse listeners, Ben Millin, with Dr. Juliet facilitating. I didn’t include it in the video, but before she went over to Ben, Juliet said to me, “I’ve already gotten a few messages from Aude, that I know need to be shared with Ben – but I’m mindful of what the horses showed us last time. To know that is the information, but wait for the right time. I feel like this is his moment right now, and I’m not going to join yet.”

By the time Juliet walked over to join Ben, he had viscerally experienced ‘rejection’ from Aude, which put him smack in the middle of his past trauma that was ready to be danced with.

How do you define who you are in your core? Have you just taken on definitions and descriptors from other people, religion, or your culture? And how do your childhood traumas affect the way you define yourself? Let’s see what the horses have to contribute to this conversation…

If you’d like to experience a healing session with Juliet via Zoom, you can get more info or book here. My entire family has had sessions with her and she’s pretty freakin’ awesome 🙂

I love to see young people figuring out their journey. Bravo to Ben for standing in his uncomfortable state and pushing through💖 That took guts truly guts. Thank you for being so brave and vulnerable to find your truth and allow others to find courage to find theirs as well. Truly you are blessed to find these horses and amazing women to guide you. Many blessings to you on your journey!

I thank you so much for putting this video on for us. I cannot explain what happened, really, I started watching and immediately felt connected to the issue that Ben was about to explore. Even before he finished the phrase at 04:09 with the word “rejected”, I said the word out loud just before Ben did. It brought tears to my eyes, because I can relate so much!

First thing that strikes me is how young people are truly not being listened too. If we are not being looked at as equal with adults, we always feel small in one way or another.
Next thing – the mom being rational/practical. I got the same ‘issue’. I know my mom loves me deeply, and older I get, more she shows it, but I never felt that there was a space held for me that I needed-from both parents. I came to that realization just recently (week or two ago), that I have not been understood or even tried to be understood by my parents, and for some reason that haunts me till this day, that emotion that I express myself and I am being looked at like I am from another planet and totally misinterpreted!
What I’ve been told, by someone who actually listened to me, is that we have expectations. Because it’s our family, our parents, we feel that automatically we should be comforted by them – who else will be there for us if not them? The thing is that they also are just other beings with their own issues, just being human and not perfect.
If we have expectations, we are prone to getting disappointed and hurt. I guess I am trying to say that we are all equal and conditioned to thing otherwise by the society. Even when we realize that we are equal and we have the RIGHT to express ourselves, that doesn’t change how others perceive it and it’s incredibly hard to function in this world, not feel rejected or small.

I personally don’t know how to move on, even when I feel like I have the answers, I don’t know how to apply it, how to make myself feel myself, be myself and not feel anxious about how others will take it, if I will get judged by what I say, or how I say it, or what I do. Once I achieve this/or anyone, really, I believe the true freedom will happen. How to stand in your power?

It feels amazing that you ladies, and the herd, are holding this space for others. It is extremely crucial for everyone to feel accepted for who we truly are. 💖 THANK YOU.

Wow that is so cool Daniela, that you said the exact same word! I think you will really appreciate Part 2 as well, coming on Sunday. And yes, I think expectations are key. My daughter has ways she doesn’t feel adequately seen or heard by me. And my sons are disappointed/betrayed that I don’t do things for them that “normal moms” do for their boys. I think the sooner we fully realize that NO human being can meet all our needs or expectations, it’s simply not possible, the more peace we’ll have.

I do think my free tapping session on lack of self-confidence and feeling ‘not enough’ will be really helpful for you though, please give it a whirl:

Thanks Jini, I tried it and it definitely made my energy flow and reassured me that that’s what I have to work on. Each time when I have to step up for myself and get in a confrontational conversation – which outcome matters to me – I get so nervous that at some point my whole body starts shaking uncontrollably. I was trying to figure out what that could mean – is my body trying to tell me NOT to get into the conversation? But I figured that the nervousness is actually serious lack of confidence in myself and what I am about to say, and fear of being judged for that. So now I am sure that the day I won’t feel that sensation, my lesson will be over and my self-esteem will be just how it’s meant to be. 🙂

That’s great Daniela! Sounds like there’s also an inability/unwillingness to set boundaries in there too… if you sign up under a different email, you can get the Free session on Health Boundaries too 🙂 I highly recommend it – should help you out with being able to stand strong in your circle of power, rather than collapsing into fear of judgement, conflict, etc.

You can also do the tapping sessions again if you feel those issues coming up xo

Omg! I just watched this a second time and pow! it hit me that I am playing it small for fear of offending others!
I do think I have something different to offer though I’m not clear exactly what it is yet but I know something is there but I am hesitant to step out into it.
The leg that got broken by Holly kicking me was the left one!!! I seem to need very hard lessons to learn aargh! I so dont want to break anything more to learn my lessons. Last time it was my pelvis, wrist and shoulder.
    Perhaps I’m just thick!lol.
Anyway thanks so much everyone for this vid its fab.
    Lots for me to process.
    Namaste

Hey Erin – I watched a very interesting documentary on YouTube about this barrel racer who got thrown from a horse and as she come off, the horse kicked her feet and sent her straight up, she came down on her head and broke the same vertebrae that Christopher Reeves did. Docs told her she’d never walk again, etc, but she did not accept that reality. BUT my point is, in talking about her story, she said that God throws pebbles at us, to get our attention. And she could track back and see the ‘pebbles’ but she didn’t stop and take the time to listen, or shift. And if we keep ignoring the pebbles, God throws a boulder. So she determined that she would not need to be hit with a boulder again and developed a meditative practice, etc. You might enjoy the interview: https://youtu.be/o5nydKtTW8Y
