Winter Moments – The Lads

Thanks to Kesia Nagata we have some lovely moments and movement to SINK INTO as the lads continue to enjoy their Northern sabbatical. This video is a beautiful, restful and a lovely escape to another world from wherever you are now.

If you want all the details on how lads are doing and how their presence is melding into Kesia’s world, that is here.

The mountain you see in the background here is called Moonlight. The story is there was a group of hunters who got lost on this mountain and they became hypothermic – two of them were likely going to die that night. Then this glowing orb (like an ET kind of orb) descended and led them back to their camp, where mysteriously, a campfire was already lit and burning. They all made it off the mountain the next day.

I am missing these lads BIG TIME. Yes, I can still communicate with them; Montaro still gives me instructions, Jax showed up in a healing session, but I miss the pure physicality of their gorgeousness, their beautiful bodies, their sense of humour.

Whenever Aude is missing them bad, she has this particular spot she stands on – it’s the same spot she stood on for hours after they left in the trailer. In the middle of the field, where she can see the barn and also the road where they loaded onto the trailer and then drove away. Loving is not always easy. But they are free to choose their work and they are free to choose when they return. Us mamas just gotta hold space and get on with our work. Trust. Trust, and more trust.

Aude and her family together, 3 weeks before the lads left
The morning the lads left. These original 5 stayed together out in the field until the trailer arrived and set up. Aude, Montaro, Zorra, Jax, Juno

Well it all comes down to TRUST doesn’t it? Do I trust my higher guidance, or not? And then yes, we have to do our own work to let the emotions flow and FEEL our feelings. The day after they left, Aude was standing in the field, with Zo and Posa holding space for her. No one was grazing, for hours they all just stood there. Witnessing, feeling the feelings. I joined them and Aude immediately asked me to rub her belly. As I did so, she began yawning and I began speaking our feelings and crying. I think it really helped her for me to say all the words out loud and cry the tears for all of us. After 45 minutes or so of that, we all turned and came into the barn for feed dishes and alfalfa.

When I look at this, yes, they run together, and sometimes is it Amelia? or Firefly?, who crosses over to be in closer bodily proiximity to the Lads? I ‘see’ just a glimmer of The Lads preparing to separate from this land and all it holds and return to the herd down south. They are always the three together within or rather next to the other four and the one, Amelia, and I hope I have that right, swings between them all. I’m watching the body language and spacing as they run.
I also feel that this place is Holy ground but one where you enter and, if willing, will grow up. Not so much a resting place but a changing place i.e. Juno coming into his own understanding, Jax’s exploding mysticism and Montaro’s stretching energy and leadership. The fight about the pipeline is another age old archetype that is taught here if one is willing to join. These horses are on ‘the move’. And presiding over it all is the mighty mountain who retains the wisdom of all ages, and the soothing colorful sky. What a blessing!
I love the sequence with the pig….I run and squeal when a power house is closing in on me too….but notice how the pig turns and faces the power, after the lesson, and seems to give space within to what just happened. A bow perhaps. Namaste. I’ve just gotta love that pig!
I have been physically separated from my four children and two grandchildren these months so i understand Audi’s frame of mind. I too go by myself to dream and connect. Sitting in the silence is one powerful way. My mom passed four years ago and i seek her counsel often these days, her and my grandmothers, too. They all lived through turbulent times…. so hasn’t Audi but she has not been defeated. No, she has the heart of the Mother and I am privileged to join with her.

I love your accounting/story of this video Claudia – so precious. And yes, this is a time of upheaval, of reckoning, of stretching into our destiny. I have a lot of thoughts and questions, but no clear idea of what will happen next. We shall see! xox

        Claudia,

loved your take on things. You’re right, Firefly is always with the boys. She’s the main link between everyone, though most of this footage is from previous months and at this time, there is a strong relationship between each and every horse visible throughout any given day. Right now, Firefly, Juno and Jax are a constant item.

The pigs are hilarious. They are curious, also drama queens, and very persistent. So they have big reactions but can’t help but push the envelope again. Insatiably mischievous. It’s been really fun watching the boys figure them out.
