Horses Apply Mudpaint-Warpaint on a Cold Afternoon

On a cold winter day, the horses dig, scoop and roll in a mud pond! In over five years in this muddy rainy climate, I have never once seen the horses do this. Are they simply playing, or do they stand in solidarity with the Wet’suwet’en in Canada?

And did you know that our very own Kesia Nagata lives up in Wet’suwet’en territory and is directly involved in this issue? I’m hoping she will write about her experiences for us at some point, and I also think this is one of the reasons the 3 lads chose to go up to Kesia’s place.

The woman I’m talking to in the video is Dr. Juliet Ghodsian – a Naturopathic doctor who is also trained in craniosacral, myofascial release and EFT tapping. The horses have pulled Juliet in to learn more about the way they work with the wisdom of the body in their collaborative way. She also has only met Kesia once and had no idea where she lived – Juliet is the one who makes the connection between the horses mudpaint/warpaint.

It’s all in this video and then I’ll explain the Canadian railway blockades (indigenous land rights conflict) in easy to understand pictures…

In my area, twice now, pipeline projects have been cancelled. I will keep my prayers and thoughts in solidarity with you as the fight over how we treat Mother Earth continues.

Energy and intention are more powerful than we realize – and as the horses keep telling me: We are MORE CONNECTED than we realize.
