Did you watch my previous video of my hubby Ian with the Hawks in Spain? A few months later, Ian gets a chance to practice all he learned with some wild birds in Mexico.
The symbolism, or medicine of Pelican is that of buoyancy and resilience. Pelicans have air sacs in their body, so when they dive for prey, they just bob right up again. This is a call to us to get back up, no matter how many times we are knocked down.
Pelicans also dive headfirst, at breakneck speed to get their fish. What is something in your own life that you can use the medicine of Pelican to go after – all in, with no hesitation, absolute focus, and swiftness?

Ok I have wrote a response three times and I have hit the wrong place and lost it! Darn human imperfections! Ok short and sweet because now I am frustrated with losing all my good writing! Ian is awesome and I adore watching his exploration with the birds, his bird prey video was particularly fascinating! But the wild birds interactions were interesting with all the small nuances✌🏼💚🐴
And you’re one of those people who is going to be able to notice and SEE all those nuances! I once received an email from someone who didn’t have a horse, but because she’d been watching all the LTYH videos on YouTube, she began to perceive animals in a different way. And then, wild/free animals started showing up everywhere she went! And she was able to have these amazing conversations/interactions with them because SHE was open/awake 🙂
